“We respect and appreciate that state agencies are committed to keeping the process moving forward and will continue working on permit applications while issues related to the environmental impact statement are being addressed.
After more than four years of review, study, and analysis the facts are beyond clear. Minnesota needs Line 3. For the thousands of people across Minnesota who support this important project, the bureaucratic system has been frustrating, and we are disappointed that the recent Minnesota Court of Appeals decision that deemed the EIS inadequate on one narrow issue has caused yet another delay to this project.
We encourage regulators to continue to complete their important work as we will continue to be engaged to make sure Minnesota replaces Line 3, protects the environment, bring jobs and billions of dollars of investment to the state.”
