We need your help! The PUC is meeting again to address the question: “Should the Commission reconsider its December 9, 2020 Order Denying Motion for Stay Pending Appeal?”

Tell the PUC no more delays and to keep Line 3 moving forward. Please fill out the form below by Tuesday, December 22 by 10:00 am and we will submit your comment to the PUC.
  • In response to the question: “Should the Commission reconsider its December 9, 2020 Order Denying Motion for Stay Pending Appeal?” No, the Commission should not reconsider its decision to deny the stay because delaying this project will result in:
    • Further delay to Minnesota putting thousands of people back to work at a time when almost a third of all people along the pipeline route communities have filed for unemployment help.
    • Prolonging the budget crisis for counties and school districts who need the new tax revenue that will be created when the project is complete.
    • Holding off opportunities to earn needed salaries for members of tribal communities who have been trained and are ready to work on this project.
    • Needlessly delaying the important work to replace an aging pipeline with one that is newer, better, stronger, and built by skilled trades and laborer who will bring economic relief to Minnesota communities.
Line 3 is the most studied and reviewed project of its kind in Minnesota history.  The PUC has reviewed all the facts and data and has repeatedly agreed that Minnesota needs to replace Line 3. There is no need to delay this project any further and I strongly encourage you to not reconsider your decision to deny the stay of the Line 3 Replacement Final Orders.
